… the perfect Minnesota lake

Lake Ida has coveted, crystal clear waters with visibility exceeding 16 feet. The Resort is located on the southwest shore of Little Ida Bay of Lake Ida. It is an ideal recreational area as lake goers can almost always find a calm area for water sports, kayaking or paddleboarding. The 4,432 acre Lake Ida is nearly six miles long, making it a great place to cruise looking at a complex shoreline with bullrush, sand beaches, and many beautiful houses. Lake Ida is also home to Pilgrim Point County Park, a beautiful new additional to the Lake in 2023. Click here to learn more about the Park.

The primary draw to the Resort and Lake Ida is fishing. The lake is an exceptional fishery with a very complex bottom structure and depth up to 106 feet. Fishermen come from all around to experience spring crappie and walleye. Many fishermen prefer the fight of a large northern pike or muskie, while others enjoy the large panfish. You can also fill your live well with large mouth and small mouth bass any time of year. Many families have been coming back to Lake Ida their entire lives and some only ever fish our shores.

Although many enjoy fishing and lake sports, there are many that also just love to enjoy the wildlife. Lake Ida is a perfect spot to watch and listen to our state bird - the loon. Fall loons gather on Lake Ida prior to departing on their long migration. You will also find large numbers of geese, ducks, white pelicans, white and grey egrets, and bald eagles flying and perching in nearby trees.

Whether you’re visiting for the first time or have been coming back for years, Lake Ida offers an unforgettable experience, blending natural splendor with a warm, inviting atmosphere.
